What to expect
The Ancient Forest trail located in a rainforest that is a very moderate trail that can be hiked by almost anyone. The Trail is marked and well kept with wooded walkways and stairs. The Ancient Forest makes you feel you have entered into another world and you almost expect to spot a dinosaur. The ferns and huge and the Cedars are gigantic! There are two trails to take, you can take one that leads you through some huge cedars or take the other that leads you to a small waterfall.
How to get there
You need to head east out Highway 16, it is roughly 113km east of Prince George. There is a small sign that warns you that the turn off is 1km ahead, easy to miss if your not paying attention. There is parking and the Trail leads of right from it.
